Community Involvement
In 2021 and 2022, the elves of the Tina Carletta Children's Foundation purchased and delivered Christmas toys to the homeless and at-risk kiddos of FaithWorks.
In past years, Risen King Church has prepared and served lasagna dinners for the Francis Court families. This moment was captured during prayer before dinner.
Tri Counties Bank came through in 2023 and made a significant donation to help repair the roof at our Veteran location after heavy storms destroyed it.
For the past 3 years Pathway Church of Redding has participated in our annual Adopt-A-Teen Program which helps our teens head back to school feeling prepared and confident.
The Redding Host Lions are seen here attending our annual Christmas Lunch hosted for our previously homeless Veterans from the House of Cornelius. You can always count on this crew to arrive bearing gifts!
In 2023, for the second time, The Sons of God Motorcycle Club selected FaithWorks as the beneficiary of their annual Poker Run.
Board members and staff enjoyed the best pizza in Shasta County during a dine and donate in 2022 hosted by The Pizza Factory in Shasta Lake City!
In 2020 the Back from Hell Motorcycle Club blessed one of the Francis Court families with a visit and Christmas gifts.
During our 2022 Annual Christmas Party, volunteers from Health and Human Services, purchased, prepared and served a beautiful ham dinner for all the residents of Francis Court. They even stayed to hang out and clean up!
The Redding Emblem Club is always looking out for FaithWorks! They have been known to donate big checks!
In 2022, the amazing men from Downtown Barbers in Redding provided our House of Cornelius Veterans with free haircuts for Veteran's Day!

Partner program Carrying Heroes provides a safe space for our Veterans and Veteran families to come out and enjoy some time with the rescued horses.

Christmas of 2022 the Back from Hell Motorcycle Club blessed another Francis Court family with support during the holiday season.
The Tina Carletta Children's Foundation delivered back packs for back to school for the 2022-2023 school year!
In 2022, Baron Browning made a visit to Francis Court to deliver a large food donation provided by Emergency Command Support. The large donation was divided up amongst residents and used to stock our onsite food pantry.
In 2022, Tina Nelson, The Redding Host Lions, Ralph and Sherry Davis, The Elks Club and other supporters rallied together to ensure that our Veterans have an amazing Christmas Lunch celebration. Many of our Vets said it was the best Christmas they have had in years!

In 2023, volunteers, donors and staff joined forces to host an epic Easter Egg Hunt and Celebration for all FaithWorks clients and alumni! This annual event grows each year and is frequented by the Easter Bunny himself!
The amazing folks from Pathway Church who deliver Sunday dinners to our Vets stayed and shared some special moments during the holiday season last year. They arrived with a warm meal and warm hearts and sang some classic Christmas carols.
There was a big turn out when previously homeless Veteran Gregory obtained permanent housing. A crew, mostly volunteers, showed up to clean, pack and move him to his new home!
Shasta College Fellow Trevor is seen packing up feminine hygiene kits that we use during community outreach events where we interact with the homeless.
In 2023, The Good News Rescue Mission reached out to FaithWorks with an abundance of toys they had received. We were able to use this donation to fill in gaps with families who hadn't connected with other resources and put many away in our storage shed to provide to kids when they move in with no toys.
Representatives from The In and Our Burger Foundation came for a tour in 2022! This foundation does amazing work in the community, shares similar values and has been a support for FaithWorks since 2019.
During the pandemic, the 20/30 Club and Easter Bunny made a visit to the Francis Court kiddos to help celebrate Easter!
The Shasta County Just Between Friends co-signers have generously donated the unsold items from their seasonal sales to FaithWorks. As a result, we were able to bless many needy families with items needed for their children.

Our community is blessed to have Exodus Farms and the kids of FaithWorks have been blessed as well! This is one of our beautiful girls, enjoying her horse therapy during a visit to Exodus Farms!
In 2022 Stive for Epic hosted a yoga fundraiser with all the proceeds benefiting FaithWorks!

The Knights of Columbus and the youth from Sacred Heart Churches Confirmation Class conducted a food drive to help stock the shelves of our onsite pantry.
